Will Ronda Rousey’s Next Fight Be With The WWE?
Sep 05, 2017
Ronda Rousey may never step inside the Octagon again but that doesn’t mean we’re done seeing the former UFC champion toss some women on their heads.
Rousey was at a recent WWE event with friends Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke to support the other member of MMA’s Four Horsewomen, Shayna Baszler as she competes in WWE’s, Mae Young Classic. The pro-wrestling tournament is designed to create the next big star in the women’s division. Rousey, Shafir and Duke were being interviewed after Baszler’s second-round victory when some familiar faces happened to walk by.

It seems all but certain Rousey and the rest of the MMA’s Four Horsewomen will square off against their WWE counterpart. Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Bayley are known as the Four Horsewomen in WWE for their part in creating a new identity for women in WWE. Even if Baszler comes up short in the finals of the Mae Young Classic, odds are we’ll see some sort of conflict between these two stables down the road.
Rousey is no stranger to the world of pro-wrestling. She’s a big fan of the product and even made an appearance at WrestleMania 31 when she assisted The Rock in a standoff with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
The clash may not come for some time as Bayley is currently on the mend due to a shoulder injury and Banks is currently involved in a title feud with Alexa Bliss. However, it’s been rumored that Flair, Banks, Lynch and Bayley will be kept away from the Raw and Smackdown title picture to let the Four Horsewomen angle play out.
